The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) is the certifying organization for pediatric physicians. Certification by the ABP is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence.
Because of the accomplishments of ImproveCareNow in improving both care and health for adolescents and children with IBD (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), Dr. Stockman and the ABP have given special recognition to institutions participating in the collaborative, and the ABP has approved participation in the collaborative as qualifying for credit for physicians to maintain their ABP certification.
