The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is the lead Federal agency charged with improving the quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness of health care for all Americans, and has provided a four-year grant to Improve Care Now as part of a Centers for Education and Research in Therapeutics (CERTs) program to study and implement advances in medical care.

Four leading national organizations working together to improve the quality of health care for children and adolescents have selected Improve Care Now as one of their Improve First initiatives.
