ImproveCareNow has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). It was announced by Dr. Richard Colletti, Executive Network Director for ImproveCareNow. This sponsorship will enable parent partners to attend ImproveCareNow Community Conferences and will partially support the cost of conference registration for professionals at centers participating in ImproveCareNow. Funding from CCFA will be provided for a three year period.

"We are delighted to work with CCFA to bring about this sponsorship opportunity," Colletti said. "It will enable more parents, patients and professionals to participate actively in our Community Conferences, which are vital to our success as a Learning Health Network. This funding enhances our ability to collaborate with CCFA to transform the health, care and costs for all children and youth with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis—to outsmart IBD together."

ImproveCareNow and CCFA have also agreed to explore opportunities for additional collaborations.

“This new partnership with ImproveCareNow is another way for us to build a robust and comprehensive program that helps meet the needs of the pediatric IBD community,” said Laura Wingate, Vice President of Patient and Professional Services for CCFA.  “The great work that ImproveCareNow does is a compliment to the pediatric research and education and support programs we have in place. We look forward to working with them.”

"We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with CCFA," Colletti said.
