ImproveCareNow encourages all who wish to learn more about an exciting program to improve medical care and health for children and teens with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease to attend. A copy of the invitation, including location and event date and time, is below.

ImproveCareNow – an innovative collaboration of physicians and health care providers across the country – is dramatically improving the quality of care and health for children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis utilizing currently available treatments. Preliminary results from this evidence-based program demonstrate a substantial increase in patient remission rates.

Federal officials will recognize the importance and leadership of the ImproveCareNow collaboration in the current climate of health care reform.
- Patrick Conway, M.D., M.P.H., Chief Medical Officer, Policy Division of the Office of the Secretary, United States Department of Health and Human Services
- Anne Trontell, M.D., M.P.H., Program Director, Centers for Education and Research on Therapeutics, US Agency for Health Care Quality and Research
- Medical experts participating in the ImproveCareNow program will announce the findings of their work to date.
- Renowned filmmaker Jesse Dylan will premiere a short film about the exciting work and methods of the ImproveCareNow Collaborative. Jesse's projects include the Emmy Award winning video Yes We Can Song launched during the candidacy of Barack Obama, featuring will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, as well as projects for a diverse group of organizations including Bono’s non-profit ONE, (RED), the campaign fighting AIDS in Africa, and KIVA, a non-profit, micro-lending organization dedicated to alleviating poverty.
We invite you to learn about the important innovations these individuals are making, and to share conversation, wine and cheese with the presenters.
