Be a part of the Spring 2025 Live Online ImproveCareNow Community Conference!
The ImproveCareNow Community Conference is an opportunity to all teach and all learn. We are delighted to announce an open call for proposals from members of our community wishing to lead a collaborative session at the Spring 2025 Live Online Community Conference taking place on April 24, 2025.
Submit your proposal and complete disclosures for all presenters by 11:59 p.m. on December 18, 2024. More information about the proposals process can be found below and you can preview the questions using this working document. Please use this document for reference and planning purposes only.
Educational Gap
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) affects 80,000+ children and adolescents in the United States. Healthcare teams providing care to these children and adolescents need access to and training on quality improvement (QI) tools and methods. This enables them to reduce unintended variation in care and improve clinical processes and outcomes. They also need face to face contact with parents and patients to share ideas on how best to create meaningful partnerships. Improved QI, research, and community engagement skills give these interdisciplinary teams the opportunity to standardize care, improve clinical processes and patient outcomes.
Global Learner Objectives
By the end of this conference, you will be able to:
- Apply best practices demonstrated through ImproveCareNow in quality improvement, research, clinical practice, and community engagement
- Build relationships with clinicians, patients, parents, and trusted partners to work together for the benefit the IBD community
- Discuss how to identify and close health equity gaps
Eligibility Criteria
Any member of the ImproveCareNow community who plans to attend the Community Conference and can commit to meeting all deadlines for presentation material submission (see Timeline and Notifications below) is encouraged to submit a proposal.
Disclosures must be completed at the time of proposal submission for all planned presenters. If disclosures are not completed at time of proposal submission, it will be considered ineligible. Patients and parents/caregivers must email Rachel Staley to complete their disclosures.
