Alex Funderburg is a former Managing Director with Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina. He joined the bank in 1989 and has spent most of his career in the company’s equipment leasing division in various management and client relationship roles. He has extensive experience in structuring complex financial transactions, organizational restructurings and portfolio analysis. Alex holds a BA degree from Amherst College in economics and an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is involved in various community activities related to his children’s interests and is also affiliated with a number of charitable institutions in Charlotte. His business board positions have included serving with a Bank of America public lease finance subsidiary as well as a privately held agriculture and real estate development concern.
