Interested in learning more about Intestinal Ultrasound Training for Inflammatory Bowel Disease? ImproveCareNow will hold an in-person training course on September 19, 2026 after the Fall 2026 Community Conference concludes. A limited number of spots are available for ICN care center participants.

Requirements to Attend the iUSCAN Training Course

  • Participants must complete an e-learning course 2 – 3 weeks prior to the hands-on course
  • Participants must attend the entire hands-on training course on September 19
  • Participants must be able to dedicate practice time at their home institution starting one week after hands-on course completion.  Dedicated practice time includes at least 5-10 IUS exams in IBD patients and continued for 12 weeks
  • Attendance at the Fall 2026 Community Conference in Detroit, Michigan
  • Attendees must be an Advanced Practice Provider, Physician/Physician Leader, or Fellow. If you are a fellow, you will need to include your year and upload a letter from your Program Director guaranteeing the requisite protected time for practice
  • Attendees must confirm they have a dedicated ultrasound machine for your use at your IBD care center. You will need to provide the name of the machine during registration.  An ultrasound machine with a convex and linear probe with doppler capabilities will work.

Fee: TBD (plus, cost & attendance at the Fall Community Conference from September 16-18)
