The ImproveCareNow Clinical Committee is pleased to invite Freddy Caldera as the guest Clinical Plenary speaker at the Fall 2026 Community Conference.Â

Dr. Freddy Caldera is a Professor of Medicine and the Yehle Family Professor in IBD Research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, where he serves as Director of Clinical Research in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He directs the Caldera Lab, whose research focuses on medication safety, vaccine immunogenicity, and the prevention of vaccine-preventable illness in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. Caldera is a co-author of major national guidelines through the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) on preventive care in IBD, and his work has shaped clinical practice around vaccination and infection prevention in patients with IBD.Â
