About the Parent/Family Advisory Council
As parents and guardians of children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, the Parent/Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the young people and their families who live with IBD. In partnership with the ImproveCareNow Network and the local Care Center teams, the PFAC empowers patients and their families to thrive in their lives by improving the quality and outcomes of IBD care.
About the GI Nutrition Foundation
Founded in 2019 as Nutritional Therapy for IBD, the GI Nutrition Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing evidence-based nutrition as an essential component of gastrointestinal (GI) care. Building on our roots in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), we are expanding our scope to address nutrition’s role across GI conditions and overall digestive health, while maintaining a strong focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The GI Nutrition Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives and health outcomes of those living with GI conditions, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, IBS, celiac disease, and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), through evidence-based nutrition. We empower patients and clinicians with current, comprehensive, and practical educational resources that support nutrition as a core component of GI care.
