The Board of Directors and the Strategy Council of ImproveCareNow have announced that President and Executive Network Director, Dr. Richard B. Colletti has made the decision to step down in June 2020.
“June 2020 will be 15 years since I became President of ImproveCareNow, and a time for me to step aside for new leadership. Between now and then I will work with the entire ImproveCareNow community on a successful transition, sharing all the knowledge I’ve gained from my rich experience and treasured relationships. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to welcome over 100 centers and their leaders to ImproveCareNow and to foster a culture of sharing and collaboration that has led to a dramatic improvement in the health of thousands of children and adolescents with IBD. I look forward to working with you over the coming months to keep ImproveCareNow on the happy trails of success.”

Dr. Colletti is the co-founder of ImproveCareNow and one of the network’s most steadfast and tireless champions. He has devoted 15 years of his professional career to the growth and success of ImproveCareNow and its mission to improve the care, health and costs for all children and youth with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

As the parent of a child with Crohn’s Disease, I cannot thank him enough for his tireless efforts on behalf of patients and caregivers. He will most certainly be missed. The ICN Board of Directors will work closely with all ICN stakeholders over the coming weeks and months to define a process for selecting successors to fulfill Dick’s role and responsibilities.
