We believe everyone’s story matters and is important and can change someone else’s story. In the midst of the current global coronavirus pandemic it feels more important than ever to share our stories, experiences, knowledge and know-how widely, to stay connected virtually and to continue reminding each other - we are not alone!

Thanks to PAC (Patient Advisory Council) member, Quint for sharing his perspective!

What part of the world are you from and how is your life currently being affected by the coronavirus pandemic?

Quint: I am a musician and I love to sing and play instruments. Right now, I am unable to spend time with family, even on my birthday.

What resources have you relied on to learn more and stay informed?

I've been getting my information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

What tactics do you use to cope with concerns/fears about coronavirus/COVID-19?

I’m making a lot of art (drawing & painting) and playing music.

What is your greatest fear when it comes to COVID-19?

My greatest fear is getting sick and being unable to get through it.

What is something you’re celebrating or feel grateful for right now?

I’m grateful that I can stay in touch with family and friends over zoom!

What would you say to someone who is feeling scared or alone right now?

We can all lean on each other. We might not all be able to be in the same place, so it is important to find creative ways to help other people!
