On Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1, ImproveCareNow will host their fourth Live Online Community Conference (LOCC). Sessions begin on September 30 at 9:30 AM ET (8:30 AM CT, 7:30 AM MT, 6:30 AM PT) and continue through 5:30 PM ET when a casual Post Conference Exhibitor Time begins. Sessions resume again on October 1 at 10:00 AM ET and continue through the early part of the day, with a wrap up scheduled at 3:40 PM ET.

All are welcome to join us for this interactive, online event where we plan to all teach and all learn about topics including: IBD, identity and intersectionality; building community and co-producing during physical distancing; fatigue and sleep difficulties; body image & disordered eating; and cultivating safe and successful patient-provider relationships.

Live Online Community Conferences present a unique opportunity for anyone who may be interested - patients, parents, clinicians, researchers, improvers, friends - to join us online during the event. Leveraging the collaborative power of our Learning Health Community, we can explore important and timely topics, to raise awareness, share new information, ask questions and so that we can move forward together and continue transforming health, care and costs for all children and adolescents with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

As usual, patients and parents are co-designers and active participants in the LOCC. Here are some sessions that patient and parent members of the ICN Community are involved in:

As you consider what you're most excited to learn more about and think about the LOCC insights you want to discuss with and spread to others in the IBD community, we encourage you to connect with us on Twitter to join the conversation no matter where you are!

Our Fall 2021 Live Online Community Conference hashtag - #ICNCC21F - was created via Symplur and the Healthcare Hashtag Project, which is aimed at connecting the dots in healthcare social media. By including #ICNCC21F in posts and tweets from and about the LOCC we can generate and share learning and ideas, make connections with our colleagues and community, and spread awareness of ImproveCareNow and IBD.

About the ImproveCareNow Community Conference
ImproveCareNow Community Conferences happen twice a year. While our community works together across the miles throughout the year, to transform care, health and costs for young people with IBD, these (traditionally in-person) meetings provide an opportunity to get together and work on developing and spreading QI and research skills and approaches; fueling our Network's use of data to drive and evaluate QI efforts; and developing partnerships that will lead to improved care processes and outcomes in pediatric IBD. The Fall 2021 Live Online Community Conference represents the fourth time ImproveCareNow will offer this event fully online.
