I never liked them, but when my doctor told me avocados are filled with good fats and that they are a wholesome food loaded with nutrients, I decided to give them a chance. I was surprised by how good they tasted!

My favorite way to eat avocados is in plain guacamole. I don't even need chips because I enjoy just scooping it up with a spoon. There are a lot of different ways to make guacamole. I'm sharing my recipe here in case you want to try it:

Of course, there are many other ways to eat avocado. My mom used to sneak it into smoothies because you can never really tell it's in there. Adding avocado to smoothies is actually a good way to make them creamier without changing the taste too much.
