ImproveCareNow Executive Directors Peter Margolis, Richard Colletti and Ramninder Hansra announced on October 8, 2018, that Sarah Myers has made the decision to leave her role as Executive Improvement Director for ImproveCareNow. Sarah’s last day will be October 19.
Sarah has been dedicated relentlessly to the mission of ImproveCareNow; spending more than a decade working to improve health, care & costs for children with IBD. After a brief break, during which she pursued a degree in nursing, Sarah brought her considerable experience back to the Network in 2012 and proceeded to help lead the transformation of ImproveCareNow into a community in which all participants in healthcare work together to co-produce better outcomes.
“Sarah has had a remarkable impact on helping us all understand what can happen when we unleash the potential of everyone to contribute and what it means to create a deep and lasting sense of community.”
– Peter Margolis, MD, PhD, Executive Scientific Director for ImproveCareNow
Sarah has been a mentor for many and a role model for us all. She will be missed, but of course, she has developed great leaders who will continue to carry on this important work.
We would like to wish Sarah all the very best as she begins her next endeavor – working to improve the health of children in her home state of Wisconsin. Sarah intends to continue to volunteer some of her time to our community and we hope to see her again at future Community Conferences.
Happy Trails, Sarah Myers!
