The ImproveCareNow (ICN) Board of Directors is seeking to fill an open position as a member of the Board to serve a three-year term. The Board provides fiduciary oversight, strategic direction, and governance for ICN. Directors serve as ambassadors for the organization and help ensure its long-term sustainability. The role is unpaid, but travel for Board responsibilities is reimbursable if it follows ICN’s Travel Policy. Board members are indemnified under ICN’s insurance policy.
Desired Qualifications
- Financial, accounting, audit, nonprofit governance, fundraising or fiduciary experience (required)
- Parent or caregiver of a pediatric patient impacted by IBD (preferred), OR familiarity with and deep commitment to improving health outcomes for pediatric patients with IBD
- Connection to an active ImproveCareNow care center or community (preferred)
