ImproveCareNow is very pleased to have welcomed five new care centers to the network in 2022:

  • Cleveland Clinic Children’s
  • Stony Brook Children’s Hospital
  • University of Louisville
  • University of Rochester, Golisano Children’s Hospital
  • University of South Alabama

ImproveCareNow (ICN) includes centers in 38 states, plus the District of Columbia, England, Qatar and Belgium. These five centers join a Learning Health Network of more than 100 centers that work together to learn, share and continuously improve, bringing about more reliable, proactive IBD care and healthier children and youth. They actively share resources and strategies to improve care for kids with IBD. Utilizing the powerful, enhanced Outcomes Registry, ICN centers identify care gaps, undertake improvement initiatives to bridge these gaps, and then analyze outcomes. These new ICN centers will begin their improvement journey by learning the foundations of ImproveCareNow together with clinicians, researchers, quality improvement teams, and patients & families across the entire network to transform the care of patients with IBD treated at their center.

ImproveCareNow provides value to its participating care centers by enabling healthcare professionals to:

  • Provide the best care possible for pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
  • Get more of your patients in remission, reduce their symptoms and improve their nutrition and growth
  • Determine if there are gaps between ImproveCareNow Model IBD Care and the care that your patients are receiving, and to help you to close those gaps.
