Getting accurate, understandable, patient-friendly information about IBD is not always easy. But what if other kids who actually have IBD told you about IBD anytime you wanted, and would only give you information that IBD experts felt was accurate? And what if the information they shared would only take a few minutes? That would be great, right?
The IBD Team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital thought so too, so we have created a series of educational videos, narrated by real kids with IBD, that you can watch anytime you like.
Our completed videos cover “What is IBD”, “Growth and Nutrition with IBD”, and “Managing Life with IBD”. More videos are underway, and will discuss topics like: tests, treatments, surgery and transitioning from your pediatric gastroenterologist to an adult doctor.
As participants in the ImproveCareNow Network, our IBD team is committed to sharing seamlessly so many other teams, patients and families can benefit from the videos we’ve created! Check them out; it’s amazing how much you can learn in just 2 or 3 minutes!
