For some time, the Patient Advisory Council has struggled to explain what exactly the PAC is and does. Up until recently explaining the PAC required sitting a person down and drawing tons of pictures or sending them tons of documents to read. This approach quickly be came too tedious because everyone has busy schedules and we live in varying times zones. So we decided the PAC needed a simple way to illustrate who we are and what we do – to demonstrate the reach & impact of the patient voice in ImproveCareNow
A picture’s worth 1,000 words – so we created an infographic – and we think it shows you the diverse make-up of the PAC; the various opportunities for PAC members; and the places we call home. In the future, we hope this will help raise awareness of who the PAC is and what we do, and will improve our recruitment process so we can welcome many new members to join us.
