On Friday, April 3, ImproveCareNow will host a LIVE Online Community Conference (LOCC). The LOCC will be preceded by a late breaking session on Telemedicine in Response to COVID-19 at 9:30am ET (8:30am CT, 7:30am MT, 6:30am PT) and the main event will begin at 10:30am ET (9:30am CT, 8:30am MT, 7:30am PT).
All are welcome to join this free online event where we will be exploring ImproveCareNow's Pathway to the Future and how we can all continue to work together to transform health, care and costs for all children and adolescents with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
As you may have read in early March, ImproveCareNow made the decision to cancel our in-person Community Conference event in response to rising and serious concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Even though it was an unexpected challenge, we immediately saw that it also presented us with a unique opportunity - to engage with even more of our community members through a LIVE online event that is free to attend.
So, with a month left to go, our dynamic conference planning team switched gears and refocused their efforts on planning a full-day online conference that will be lively and inspirational, where members of our community can all teach and all learn, and take advantage of opportunities to dive deeply into topics of interest while continuing to develop skills they can use to drive real improvements in health and care for young patients with IBD.
Our LIVE Online Community Conference presents a unique opportunity for anyone who may be interested - patients, parents, clinicians, researchers, improvers, friends - to attend this online meeting free of charge. You can locate current information about the LOCC - including final agenda and emerging details on CME/CNE and MOC credit - on the event page of our website.
As usual, patients and parents are co-designers and will be active participants in the LOCC. Here are some sessions they're directly involved in:

Our Spring 2020 LIVE Online Community Conference hashtag - #ICNCC20S - was created via Symplur and the Healthcare Hashtag Project, which is aimed at connecting the dots in healthcare social media. By including #ICNCC20S in posts and tweets from and about the LOCC we can generate and share learning and ideas, make connections with our colleagues and community, and spread awareness of ImproveCareNow and IBD.

About the ImproveCareNow Community Conference
ImproveCareNow Community Conferences happen twice a year. While our community works together across the miles throughout the year, these (traditionally in-person) meetings provide an opportunity to work on developing and spreading QI and research skills and approaches; fueling our Network's use of data to drive and evaluate QI efforts; and developing partnerships that will lead to improved care processes and outcomes in pediatric IBD. The Spring 2020 Community Conference represents the first time ImproveCareNow will offer this event fully online and without cost for attendees.
