Dear Friends,
It’s fair to say that we’re still a bit speechless thinking about the impact of the presence, participation, and indeed leadership of so many people, including parents, patients, clinicians, researchers and improvers at our Community Conference. Over 300 people took time away from family, work, and day-to-day life, and dove right in. Together we learned, we taught, and most of all, we inspired each other all to keep doing better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this community and helping us celebrate our first decade!
To all who joined, whether in person or online, we’d like to invite you to share your feedback with us about the extent to which ImproveCareNow has made you feel welcome and connected with ways to contribute that are meaningful to you. Your ideas and recommendations are welcome and encouraged – we’re listening!
As you may know, or be experiencing yourself, following a Community Conference there is always a tremendous increase in energy and enthusiasm. We are flush with new ideas and anxious to build on the momentum started during our time together. As we head back to our daily lives, with school & family commitments, busy clinic and meeting schedules, we encourage everyone to stay connected so we can keep moving forward together. Here are some suggestions:
Connect on the ICN Exchange to find tools and resources from your colleagues across the Network, such as PAC Tools for Transition; Stanford’s mobile Infliximab Dosing Calculator; and an Overview of the SCD developed by NASPGHAN.
Connect your Community Conference ideas and momentum to our QI tools and infrastructure. Start by setting some 90 Day Goals. Reach out to your QI Coach and members of your team’s Learning Lab for support and collaboration.
Connect with the PAC and the Parent Working Group because, as you saw this weekend, they are eager to help you be successful in engaging patients and parents in your work to improve care now.
And, if you find yourself seeking another dose of inspiration & connection, and you're craving updates on exciting projects like the PRODUCE Study (evaluating the Specific Carbohydrate Diet), and our ImproveCareNow Model IBD Care Guidelines (our standard of care), then please attend some or all of our Virtual Community Conference on May 17.
Get all the details & RSVP to join the Virtual Community Conference here. This interactive webinar is free and open to everyone - so we hope to connect with you virtually on the 17th.
