My name is Maria and I'm the ImproveCareNow Parent/Family Advisory Council (PFAC) Connections Co-Lead. Recently, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the ICN Communications team and PFAC leadership, to create the very first logo for the PFAC! Our new PFAC logo symbolizes the incredible strength and unwavering unity of parents and caregivers who nurture and support children with IBD.

The logo is rooted in the spirit of collaboration and represents our shared commitment to improving the lives of children with IBD. The intertwining branches symbolize the interconnectedness of parents, forming a network of support, understanding, and empathy. Just as a tree gains strength from its deep roots, we draw strength from our collective experiences and knowledge.

The logo's vibrant colors reflect the vitality and resilience within our ICN community. They represent the courage and determination parents possess in advocating for their children's needs and rights. Each color blends harmoniously, reflecting the diverse backgrounds and stories that unite us together in this journey.

With this new logo, the PFAC aims to inspire and empower parents, reminding them that they are not alone. Together, we can create positive change, raise awareness, and foster a nurturing environment where children and families with IBD can thrive.

Let's continue to stand strong, united, and rooted in our passion for improving the lives of all children with IBD.

ImproveCareNow exists to transform the health, care and costs for all children and adolescents with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD). To do this ICN has created an inclusive, transparent and collaborative community where patients, families, clinicians, researchers, improvers, collaborators and friends are all empowered to learn, share and continuously improve, bringing about more reliable, proactive IBD care and healthier children and youth.
