Community Learning About Results of Engagement Study - CLARE Study
This study is to test the effect of engagement (e.g., accessing or using information and resources from ImproveCareNow) and self-management (e.g., taking your prescribed medications, awareness of symptoms) on health outcomes in adolescents and young adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Pediatric Gastroenterology Provider Attitudes and Practices Toward Sexual and Reproductive Health for Female Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease
While adolescents and young adults with IBD face unique challenges regarding sexual and reproductive health (SRH), current literature suggests a significant gap in counseling and provider-specific resources. Our team is conducting this study to better understand the attitudes, current practices, and barriers surrounding these essential conversations.
Who is eligible to participate?
We are seeking input from medical providers (attending or fellow physicians, advanced practice practitioners, or psychologists who practice in the United States and provide care to pediatric patients with IBD).
Study Details:
- Format: One-time, anonymous survey administered via REDCap. This study should take less than 10 minutes or less to complete.
- Topics Covered: Puberty, menstruation, contraception, healthy personal relationships, sexual activity, sexually transmitted infections, fertility, pregnancy, and body image.
- Commitment: Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw or decline to answer any question at any time.
Your perspective is vital. The results of this study will help us identify gaps in care and provide guidance for developing future resources to support you and your patients.
