Join Grace Whiting, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Caregiving, on Tuesday July 14 from 2- 3 p.m. ET for a discussion on IBD caregiving. This moderated Lunch & Learn will feature a presentation of NAC's recent follow-up materials of our 2019 report on IBD caregivers. These materials include a guidebook geared towards professionals and providers to improve the ways in which IBD caregivers, and patients, are empowered in their care journey. Another piece of the follow-up work is the flyer with helpful resources to be distributed to caregivers for them to reference when needed. Through this moderated discussion, we hope to understand (1) how these materials are important to professionals and providers; and (2) how they can be used to improve patient outcomes, as well as patient and caregiver support.
The discussion will be moderated by Grace Whiting, as well as one of NAC's staff members, Charlotte Davidson.
