As a part of the ImproveCareNow Engagement Campaign, we are working to create a series of trainings and tools with parents, patients, clinicians, and staff to support teams at local ICN centers in their Engagement efforts. We’ve created our second set of training modules and would like to share them with the ICN Community to gather feedback! Between now and the end of August, we are hoping to review and test the following training modules:
- Digital Tools to Support Your Team: Virtual Meetings, Online Organizational Tools, and Communication Platforms
- Patients, Parents, and Care Center Staff: Working Together to Build an Engagement Team
- How to Build an Engagement Team Part II- ImproveCareNow Team Roles and Identifying Team Members
- Quality Improvement for Patients and Parents
How you can help!
- Review training module content (30 minutes – 1 hour): Volunteer will be sent training module content by email. Volunteer can provide feedback on content to project leader by email or phone.
- Participate in a "test" training module (1.5 – 3 hours): Volunteer arranges a time to participate in a test of the training module, either in person or by webinar. The training presentation typically takes 60-75 minutes. The presentation is followed by a conversation with the training team to gather feedback and opportunities for improvement.
Please RSVP if you are interested in reviewing or participate in a "test" training presentation and an ICN staff member will reach out to schedule a working meeting. Contact us if you have any questions.

About the ImproveCareNow Engagement Campaign
The Engagement Campaign aims to build patient and parent engagement at each of the 100+ ImproveCareNow Centers that empowers patients and parents to come up with new ideas to improve their quality of life, share those ideas with the community, learn from others, and support their care center's quality improvement efforts.
