The ImproveCareNow Board of Directors has announced that Kristin M. Howe, DC, MHA has accepted the position of Executive Director of ImproveCareNow. Dr. Howe will begin her new position on June 1, 2020 and will be working closely with ImproveCareNow Co-founder and Executive Network Director, Richard Colletti, MD as he prepares to step down later in July.

Dr. Howe was most recently a Program Director at the James M. Anderson Center of Health Systems Excellence at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where she was dedicated to advancing the quality and experience of healthcare through optimization of innovative care models.
Prior to joining Cincinnati Children’s, Dr. Howe helped to launch China Primary Care Ltd. (CPC) in Shanghai, China. During her time with CPC, she led the build out of company operations and established relationships with major medical centers across the US in support of their international medical travel business.
Dr. Howe began her career in rehabilitative medicine where she practiced as Chiropractor and an acupuncturist. She holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children, Hazel and Atticus.
In her role as ImproveCareNow Executive Director, Dr. Howe will be responsible for the development of the strategic direction of the Network. As a key member of the ImproveCareNow leadership team, she will work in concert with the Clinical and Scientific Directors to provide overall strategic leadership to plan, develop and direct ImproveCareNow’s continuous learning health system to achieve breakthrough performance on the network’s goals for better health, and more engaged community and faster, more meaningful research for children and families living with IBD.
Dr. Howe will report directly to the ImproveCareNow Board of Directors and will work closely with the recently appointed Transition Director and the Project Management Team to facilitate a smooth transition and the continued momentum of ImproveCareNow.
