This summer, ICN staff invited community members to respond to the prompt "What ICN means to me..." and then mashed up the responses into a fun 3-minute video that was shared at our Fall 2025 Community Conference in September.

We wanted to share the video here on the blog because it is an opportunity to hear some of the many voices and see the faces of our Learning Health Network. It also highlights how ICN - and the work we do to improve care and outcomes for young folks with IBD - is meaningful to many different people, across multiple aspects of the IBD care spectrum, and for many diverse reasons.

In "What ICN Means to Me" you will hear from our three executive directors (toward the end of the video), as well as patients, parent/caregivers, clinicians, researchers, quality improvement coaches, and improvers from across our community.

"The collaboration in this learning network is real and heartfelt, and it gives me hope as a caregiver, knowing that by working together, we're improving care for every child living with IBD." - Maria Lester, Parent/Caregiver

If you feel moved after watching, we invite you to share what ICN means to you and how you connect to this work in the comments 💚💙
