Hi, my name is Nikhil. When I wrote my first post for LOOP back in April, I said I wanted to share more about my experiences eating certain foods as a vegetarian who lives with ulcerative colitis. I decided that the first food I wanted to talk about would be something that I really enjoy eating, so it was a no-brainer for me to choose to write about eggs.

In honor of Feeding Tube Awareness Week (February 8-12, 2021), Makenna shared a little about her experience with a feeding tube and how she views it in a positive light!

It was definitely a fascinating experience making this podcast episode where my fellow PAC member, Maha and I interviewed Dr. Jennie David. I especially enjoyed learning more about her profession and remember thinking that I didn’t even know IBD Psychology was its own subfield.

Hello, my name is Adrielle and I am a 17-year-old rising senior in high school. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was 16 years old. Something that most people do not know about me is that I have a love for fashion. I channel this love by designing and creating my own clothes with my sewing machine.

Hi everyone! My name is Maitri, and I attend the Ohio State University (yes, the "the" is obnoxious but absolutely necessary). I am majoring in Neuroscience, and plan on attending medical school! I also work as a part-time PCA at Nationwide Children's Hospital. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 15. An interesting thing that most people don't know about me is that I am trilingual - I speak Gujarati, Hindi, and English!
